Can I stop my MA divorce?

There are several websites selling DVDs and books about how to stop a divorce. Are any of these methods legal in Massachusetts or would they even work? My wife is going forward with this thing and I think we should talk about it. Thank you.

You are obviously not in a happy situation right now, and I'm sorry about that.  However, in Massachusetts, as in most states, if one party to a marriage wants a divorce and follows all of the requirements of filing for divorce and of proper service, the divorce will move forward.  Unless your spouse is interested in participating in counseling or in talking to you about it, she is entitled to a divorce under the laws of Massachusetts.  So, I would not waste my money on the DVDs or books your mention.  For more information or to post a question, visit our Massachusetts Divorce Discussion Forum.
